What to Expect
Improve Your Health,
Improve Your Life
We take a holistic approach to our treatments. Our training and experience allow us to administer a range of treatments and preventative approaches that are tailored to each individual patient.
Step 1
Registration Paperwork
This is required prior to examination and treatment. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to your appointment so you can complete it before your appointment time. We begin our appointments promptly and not coming prepared can alter how much time your physical therapist spends with you.
Step 2
Examination
Your therapist will ask you questions about the history of your injury/situation and your goals for therapy. Your therapist will go though your Medical History, which can help them connect the missing links in your care.
Step 3
Clothing
A thorough examination will be performed therefore it will be important to have visual access to the body part in question. Please wear or bring shorts and a tank top or loose clothing so they may not impede the movement in any way.
Step 4
Plans of
Care & Goals
Your physical therapist will work with you to create a plan of care and take into consideration what your goals are. Your goals are our goals. Our goal is to make changes in your body for the better at the price of some temporary soreness, which typically lasts a few hours up to a couple days. Drinking extra water and continuing your activities will help reduce this. Feel free to reach out to your physical therapist to discuss any soreness and discomfort and they can tell you if it is expected or if a different route of treatment needs to be taken.
