Proven & Professional

Our Way of Work

Synergy therapists are highly trained professionals and experts at uncovering the root cause of your symptoms and finding a solution that will allow your body to function at its full potential. We help our patients find solutions to their challenges and encourage them towards independence instead of reliance through self-management techniques.

Great clinicians are passionate about supporting their patients. We ensure that upon discharge our patients are equipped with the tools to maintain optimal function and return to their pain-free lifestyle.

What is Manual Therapy?

There are many categories within the practice of manual therapy. Some of the most widely used are:

Soft Tissue Mobilization

Soft tissue mobilization, or massage, focuses on limbering up muscles, ligaments, and tendons. It is often these tissues that become scarred and lack the proper fluids that promote flexibility. A layer-by-layer assessment is done in order to localize the affected area in order to help reduce pain and remove restrictions.

Joint Mobilization

Injuring a joint can lead to restricted movement or muscle spasms. This form of manual therapy involves the passive movement of specific joints by using the skilled application of force, direction, and technique.

Neuromuscular Techniques

Strain-Counterstrain is a technique that focuses on guiding the problematic muscles into positions that are “opposite” the ones at which the pain and tenderness start. Staying in this position of slight tension helps relieve the spasms.
